Letter: Save that leaflet!
Written By: Michael Herbert Published In: Issue 18: Summer 2003 (The editor)
Date: April 2003
I am writing on behalf of the Trustees of the Working Class Movement Library in Salford, which is a national collection of the history of British and Irish radical and labour movements from the 1790s to the present day. The library continues to collect material and would be very pleased to receive anything produced by the current Stop The War movement, probably the biggest protest movement in Britain for 40 years.
We are interested in books, pamphlets, leaflets, posters, videos, photographs, press releases, news sheets, banners, placards, press cuttings, personal accounts and writings, basically anything that will help document the movement for future generations.
The address of the library is Jubilee House, 51 Crescent, Salford M5. Tel: 0161-736-3601, email: enquiries@wcml.org.uk. Please help us by forwarding this to friends and colleagues.
