Dr. Caitlin Bass joins Flagler Health + Primary Care

Board-certified internal medicine physician Dr. Caitlin Bass has joined Flagler Health +’s rapidly growing network of primary care providers. She now schedules appointments for new patients at the primary care office located at 201 Health Park Blvd., suite 215, on the Flagler Hospital campus.

Bass completed a residency in internal medicine and a palliative and palliative care fellowship at the Sarasota campus of Florida State University College of Medicine.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr Bass to Flagler Health +,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr David Rice. “She is a valued addition to our internal medicine team and will bring a wealth of experience in compassionate care and treatment.”

Bass received his MD from Saba University Medical School in Saba, Dutch Caribbean, and his undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Religion from the University of Florida. She is a women’s health advocate and an ally of the LGBTQ community.

Bass received the Domenick Cover, MD, Memorial Humanism in Medicine Award in 2019 for consistently demonstrating the qualities of compassion, respect, integrity and service in the practice of medicine.


An accomplished writer, Bass has published several articles in publications such as the Washington Post and KevinMD.
