“Put Christ first,” said Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and that changes everything. When young men and young women put Christ first in their lives, they will want to make sacred temple covenants. They will want to go on a mission. When they put Christ first, they begin to understand the ordinances and covenants they make with the Savior, and they will want to do His will and be more like Him.

Sitting in his office in the Church Administration Building while filming a BYU-Pathway Worldwide broadcast, Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles held up a stone he brought back from his four years of service in Brazil as a General Authority Seventy.
On the one hand, it seemed like a simple, ordinary rock, but by turning it over, Elder Andersen showed that “there is so much more on the inside than what you see on the outside.”

The gospel of Jesus Christ calls Latter-day Saints “to love people of all faiths, cultures, races, and nations for the common good—all are alike before God,” said Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve apostles, during the G20 Religious Forum on November 3 in Bali, Indonesia.
The forum, known as R20, mobilized diverse religious, political and economic leaders to find common ground and promote peace and understanding.
