[Panel 1]: The grocery store is full of people standing close to each other while they shop. The top of Sebastian’s head – visible from the eyes upwards – is centered in front of a group of people, some of whom look confused, others focused, others amused.
Narration: The masks are taken off, and I feel like everyone knows it’s shocking and embarrassing. Everyone tries to normalize it but no one really knows how to have conversations.

[Panel 2]: A client with light brown skin, purple hair that goes down to the shoulders, cropped bangs to the eyebrows and circular glasses, cuddles with a bundle of bacon. Sebastian, who wears a mustard yellow shirt and plum-colored mask, watches them wearily out of the corner of his eye.
Client in the Register (to Sébastien): I’m trying this bacon for the first time!
Sebastian: Oh this one is really good.

[Panel 3]: Sebastian is turned sideways, facing the left side of the panel. The client, who is partially obscured by Sebastian’s head, stands behind him, chatting. The top of a second customer’s head is visible in the lower left corner of the panel. They have white skin and short grayish blue hair.
Customer: Do you remember in twenty-two when everyone had a t-shirt that said “I prefer to eat bacon”?
Second client: I’ve had all of my hot-topic bacon shirts. But I’ve heard they’re very “Disney” now, so I’m boycotting them.
Customer: I guess I’ve accidentally boycotted them for like nine years.

[Panel 4]: A third customer with white skin, short brown hair and wearing a purple turtleneck sweater approaches Sebastian at the counter. They face each other with a crate of vegetables between them.
Narration: And I think some people just make things up to get through the interaction.
Sebastian: Wow. What are you going to do with all these vegetables?
Third customer: I prepare a German potato salad.

[Panel 6]: Close-up of the face of the third customer, who wears a surprised expression. The back of Sebastian’s head is partially visible on the left side of the panel.
Sebastian: What is German potato salad?
Third customer: I think it’s an American creation. They couldn’t do that in Germany. There are no vegetables there.

[Panel 7]: Close-up of Sebastian’s profile in front of a lavender-colored background.
Sebastian: Are there no vegetables in Germany?
Third customer: Yeah. No vegetables in Germany.

[Panel 8]: Close-up of the third customer, whose face is covered in shadow, as he confidently exits the store. Sebastian can be seen in the background with a horrified look on his face as he watches the customer exit the store.
